About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and flexible Support Worker Team Leader to join our team in Huncote. You will lead and support a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour. This role requires flexibility to work day shifts and sleep-in shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and supervision.
- Deliver and oversee person-centred care for individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour.
- Administer and oversee medication in line with care plans and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and best practices.
- Undertake day shifts and sleep-in shifts as required.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 12 months experience as a Team Leader in a support or care setting.
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour.
- Confident in administering medication.
- Must hold a full driving licence and be able to drive.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work both day shifts and sleep-ins.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
