About the Role
We are currently recruiting for reliable, compassionate, and experienced Support Workers to join our growing team, providing person-centered care and support to adults living with mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. These roles are based within supported living environments in the Crewe area (CW7 & CW10).
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and choice for the people we support, ensuring they live fulfilling and meaningful lives in a safe, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting adults with mental health needs and complex behaviours in their daily routines
- Promoting independence and personal development
- Managing and de-escalating challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Administering medication safely in line with care plans and company procedures
- Maintaining clear, accurate records and reports
- Supporting individuals with personal care when required
- Encouraging engagement in social, leisure, and community-based activities
- Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience working with adults with mental health conditions and challenging behaviour
- Current, valid, and in-date CPI training certificate (this is essential for this role)
- Experience in medication administration within a care setting
- A minimum of 6 months experience working within a supported living environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage complex behaviours professionally
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
