We’re looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to join our Wigston-based supported living service, supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities. Whether you’re after part-time or full-time hours, we offer flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll help individuals live independently, safely, and confidently. You’ll be part of a team that values your input and focuses on person-centred care. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
- Assisting with personal care, meal prep, and household routines
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and wellbeing
- Supporting individuals to access the community and engage in meaningful activities
- Following tailored care plans and behaviour support strategies
- Helping with medication administration and maintaining accurate records
- Building strong, trusting relationships through empathy and professionalism
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
- Calm, adaptable, and confident in varied situations
- Excellent communication and observational skills
- A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to care
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins and lone working
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
