About the Role
We are currently looking for a proactive, reliable and caring Support Worker to join our team in Burton‑on‑Trent. You’ll be working within a supported living setting, providing person‑centred care to semi‑independent service users with varying support needs. This role involves working both independently as a lone worker and as part of a wider team, supporting individuals to maintain their independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred care tailored to individual needs
- Support service users with daily routines, activities, and life skills
- Administer medication in line with care plans and policies
- Carry out Moving and Handling procedures safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records and care documentation
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice at all times
Requirements
- Experience working within a supported living or similar care setting
- Confident working both alone and as part of a team
- Moving and Handling experience (essential)
- Experience administering medication (essential)
- A positive, proactive and compassionate approach
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
