As one of Edinburgh's leading providers of home care, Social Care Alba delivers a wide range of care services which help people to stay in their own homes for longer. We are looking for a Care Team Leader to join our exciting and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Managing a staff team, including assisting with Learning & Development, Recruitment & Induction, and Supervision & Performance
- Ensuring compliance with the Scottish Social Services Council
- Managing a team of service users, including reviewing and auditing support, assessing and planning personal plans, and handling incidents, accidents, or complaints
- Ensuring the quality of care and support
- Effectively and efficiently handling all emergency on‐call issues
- Maintaining compliance with Care Inspectorate legislation and best practice
- Liaising with other professionals such as hospitals, G.P., social work, district nurses, and EHSCP
- Participating in the on‐call rota
- Attending and contributing to meetings
- Updating electronic records, including rotas
- Completing administrative tasks on time, every time
- Participating in and contributing to the annual Improvement Plan
Qualifications
- 2 years or more experience in a similar role
- SVQ 4 or equivalent in Health or Social Care
