Social Care 4U is looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our growing domiciliary care team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of care services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with CQC standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating domiciliary care packages
- Completing new client assessments and risk assessments
- Conducting regular care reviews and updating care plans
- Carrying out spot checks, observations, and competency checks for care staff
- Supervising and supporting Care Workers in the community
- Ensuring service users receive safe, effective, and person-centred care
- Managing staff rotas and assisting with care scheduling where required
- Responding to emergencies, incidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints appropriately
- Liaising with local authorities, social workers, families, and healthcare professionals
- Monitoring service quality and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations
- Supporting with staff inductions, training, supervisions, and appraisals
- Reviewing MAR charts, daily records, and care documentation
- Participating in on-call duties where required
- Assisting with audits and quality assurance processes
- Ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Supporting with hospital discharges and care package mobilisation
- Promoting dignity, independence, safeguarding, and wellbeing for all service users
Requirements
- Previous experience within domiciliary care or social care management
- Must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
- Good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Full UK right to work
