Social Care 4U is looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our growing domiciliary care team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of care services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with CQC standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating domiciliary care packages
  • Completing new client assessments and risk assessments
  • Conducting regular care reviews and updating care plans
  • Carrying out spot checks, observations, and competency checks for care staff
  • Supervising and supporting Care Workers in the community
  • Ensuring service users receive safe, effective, and person-centred care
  • Managing staff rotas and assisting with care scheduling where required
  • Responding to emergencies, incidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints appropriately
  • Liaising with local authorities, social workers, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Monitoring service quality and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations
  • Supporting with staff inductions, training, supervisions, and appraisals
  • Reviewing MAR charts, daily records, and care documentation
  • Participating in on-call duties where required
  • Assisting with audits and quality assurance processes
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Supporting with hospital discharges and care package mobilisation
  • Promoting dignity, independence, safeguarding, and wellbeing for all service users

Requirements

  • Previous experience within domiciliary care or social care management
  • Must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Full UK right to work
