We are looking for an experienced and passionate Supported Living Manager to lead a brand-new service in Warrington for an established and highly regarded care provider. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the start of the service and play a key role in building the team, establishing strong systems and creating a high-quality, person-centred service from the ground up.
The Role
As Supported Living Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the service. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure excellent standards of care and support, and create an environment where the people we support can live fulfilling, independent lives.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a new staff team
- Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the service
- Supporting recruitment, induction, supervision and development of staff
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards
- Building positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies
- Maintaining accurate records and completing audits
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion
- Supporting the service through its development and growth
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, motivated and genuinely passionate about supported living. You will ideally have:
- Previous management experience within supported living, social care or a similar setting
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing and developing a care/support team
- A strong understanding of person-centred care
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of a new service
- A positive, hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example
