We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to lead our domiciliary care service in Uxbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident care professional with strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
The Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective management and delivery of the domiciliary care service. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure regulatory compliance and work closely with clients, families and professionals to maintain excellent standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service
- Ensure compliance with relevant Care Inspectorate standards and regulations
- Lead, support and develop the care team
- Manage recruitment, induction, supervision and performance
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and regularly reviewed
- Monitor the quality and safety of care being delivered
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals
- Manage staffing, rotas and service delivery
- Deal effectively with safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints
- Complete regular audits and implement continuous improvements
- Promote a positive culture focused on high-quality, person-centred care
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven management experience within domiciliary care
- Have a strong understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements
- Be an effective and confident team leader
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be able to manage a busy service and prioritise effectively
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and care standards
- Be passionate about supporting people to remain independent in their own homes
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and strong decision-making skills
