Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, as well as providing support and guidance to our staff to maintain the highest levels of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance is being met
- Provide support and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, including training and development
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure the company is compliant at all times
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies and participate in inspections and audits
- Investigate any incidents or complaints related to compliance and take appropriate action to prevent reoccurrence
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations
- Prepare and present reports on compliance status and progress to senior management
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks within the company
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within the healthcare sector
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as CQC, GDPR, and Health and Safety
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
