We’re recruiting an experienced and passionate Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to join a specialist adult care service in Worcester, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on additional responsibility, lead by example, and make a genuine difference to the lives of the people they support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the care team during shifts
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with Learning Disabilities
  • Support individuals who may display challenging behaviours
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes
  • Support with care plans, risk assessments, and daily documentation
  • Mentor and guide Support Workers to maintain high standards
  • Participate in sleep-ins as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours
  • Previous Senior Support Worker or Team Leader experience desirable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Confident supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Calm, resilient, and able to respond positively to challenging situations
  • Passionate about promoting independence and quality of life
