Location: South East England
Salary: £70,000+ plus commission
Are you an experienced leader who knows how to build, launch and grow supported living and residential care services from the ground up?
We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Operations Director to lead the development, setup and growth of supported living and residential services for adults across the South East.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven senior professional with hands-on experience of setting up new services, developing operational infrastructure and driving sustainable business growth within adult social care.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the setup, launch and development of new supported living and residential services for adults.
* Oversee operational strategy, service development and business growth.
* Manage CQC registration processes and ensure services meet regulatory requirements.
* Develop policies, procedures and operational systems to support safe, compliant and effective service delivery.
* Recruit, develop and lead strong management teams.
* Build relationships with local authorities, commissioners and key stakeholders.
* Drive occupancy, referrals, contract opportunities and commercial performance.
* Ensure services deliver high-quality, person-centred care and achieve positive outcomes for the people supported.
* Monitor budgets, financial performance, quality assurance and operational KPIs.
* Identify opportunities for expansion and establish new services across the South East.
✅ Essential Experience
* Proven experience setting up supported living and/or residential adult care services from the ground up.
* A strong background in senior operations or leadership within adult social care.
* Experience of CQC registration, regulatory compliance and service development.
* A track record of launching services, building teams and establishing effective operational processes.
* Commercial awareness, with the ability to drive growth, occupancy and profitability.
* Excellent leadership, strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.
* A full understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance and person-centred care.
