HR Advisor in Birmingham

HR Advisor Salary: £38,000 per annum Location: Birmingham Sector: Social Care We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join a growing social care provider in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and wants to make a real impact across the employee lifecycle. The Role As HR Advisor, you will provide high-quality, practical HR advice and support to managers and employees across the organisation. You will play a key role in supporting employee relations, recruitment, administration, performance management and HR processes. Key Responsibilities * Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. * Manage and support employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters. * Support recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes. * Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied. * Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. * Support managers with performance and people management. * Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. * Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice. * Build strong relationships with managers and employees across the organisation. About You We are looking for someone who has: * Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or similar HR role. * Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. * Experience managing employee relations cases. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A pragmatic, commercial and solutions-focused approach. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * The confidence to advise and challenge managers when required. * Experience within social care, healthcare or another regulated environment would be highly desirable.
