Responsibilities
- Client Liaison
- Confidently handle and manage client relationships, listening to their needs and responding with well‑informed, precise, and timely solutions.
- Pitch and present to clients, showcasing creative strategies and campaign ideas.
- Team Leadership
- Brief and manage video editors, social media executives, and assistants on assigned accounts, ensuring clarity and alignment with campaign goals.
- Support the development of team members, providing feedback and guidance.
- Content Creation and Strategy
- Strategically create and execute engaging content across various social media platforms, both video and still.
- Use tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and video animation platforms to create compelling visuals.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest social media trends to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
- Social Media Planning and Management
- Develop, update, and maintain content calendars tailored to achieve clients’ business goals across platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Linked In, You Tube, and more.
- Actively monitor and manage brands’ social channels, responding to followers and engaging with audiences.
- Photography and Videography
- Capture and shoot content for clients using a mobile device or DSLR.
- Collaborate with the in‑house photographer/videographer to brief and produce the content needed for campaigns.
- Market Research and Reporting
- Lead bi‑weekly market research reports, identifying trends and opportunities across client industries, including art, hospitality, fashion, and food & beverage.
- Generate end‑of‑month social media performance reports for selected accounts.
- Copywriting and Engagement
- Adapt to numerous brands’ tones of voice and maintain high standards for grammar and accuracy.
- Monitor and engage with followers on behalf of clients, ensuring meaningful interactions.
- Paid Ads
- Experience with paid advertising campaigns is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in social media management and marketing strategies, ideally in an agency setting.
- Strong skills in public relations and brand communication.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and other graphic design tools.
- Experience with video editing tools (e. g., Cap Cut).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Photography and/or videography experience preferred.
- Ability to analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
