Socage Group, a leading manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial platforms, is seeking a driven and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to develop and grow its presence in the UK market.
The role will focus on expanding sales, strengthening relationships with key accounts, and positioning Socage as a reliable partner for high-quality access solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a UK sales strategy to grow market share and achieve sales targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with rental companies, utilities, telecom operators, and local authorities.
- Manage and expand relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers across the UK.
- Promote Socage’s product range (truck-mounted and spider platforms), highlighting performance, reliability, and compliance with UK standards.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, tenders, and framework agreements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and support customers with technical-commercial expertise.
- Monitor competitor activity and UK market trends (including rental sector dynamics).
