Job Description

The role will lead the global development and execution of the global brand communications strategy for Tryngolza, ensuring strong, compliant, and impactful communication. Partnering across Brand Marketing, Corporate Communications, Medical, Community Engagement, Investor Relations, Regulatory, Compliance, Legal and Finance, plus regional teams and affiliate teams, you’ll translate strategy into high quality, scalable activation while strengthening global visibility, media impact, and affiliate execution. This is a senior individual contributor leadership role designed to own brand communications and lead critical workstreams, in close collaboration with the overall asset leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Communications
    • Lead the global brand communications strategy, including launch readiness, data milestone planning, and lifecycle communications
    • Maintain the brand narrative consistently across all channels and stakeholders
  • Media Strategy, Relationship & External Engagement
    • Partner with Disease State Awareness lead on product media strategy, including channel selection, prioritization, and media investment (paid, earned, and owned)
    • Build and manage relationships with key international and specialty media
    • Guide affiliates in local media engagement, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality
  • Congress Communications & Activation
    • Lead the brand congress communications roadmap (pre-, during-, and post-congress)
    • Oversee development of global congress toolkits and ensure strong local amplification across markets
    • Coordinate cross‑functional alignment (Medical, IR, Compliance) for data communication and own media engagement
  • Global‑to‑Local Execution & Affiliate Enablement
    • Develop and deploy global communication toolkits, digital assets, and campaign playbooks for affiliate use
    • Oversee development of high‑quality communication materials, including narratives, Q&As, digital content, and presentations
    • Partner closely with country teams to strengthen capabilities and drive high‑quality execution
    • Lead agency management, ensuring strategic alignment, quality delivery, and efficient execution
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Medical and Brand teams to ensure scientific integrity and strong educational impact
    • Collaborate with Community Engagement to amplify the patient voice and strengthen external partnerships
    • Align with Corporate/IR Communications to ensure consistency and clarity of external messaging
  • Insights, Performance & Continuous Improvement
    • Lead global insight gathering (media landscape, social listening, advisory boards) to inform strategy
    • Define and track KPIs to measure communication effectiveness and optimize impact
    • Continuously refine communication approaches based on data, insights, and evolving market dynamics
  • Capability Building & Innovation
    • Drive continuous improvement of communications capabilities across international markets
    • Introduce and scale best practices data‑driven communications and promote the use of new tools, including AI, to enhance efficiency, personalization, and impact
  • Budget, Governance & Compliance
    • Manage the budget for communication programs; forecast, track ROI, and reallocate for impact under SOPs, industry codes, and corporate values.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in brand communications/PR within healthcare, including significant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi‑market communications strategies at regional or global level.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business priorities into impactful communications and reputation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, lead without authority, and manage complexity.
  • Strong relationship builder, capable of fostering trusted partnerships across functions (Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Policy, Patient Advocacy) and across country affiliates.
  • Excellent communication and influence across functions, cultures, and seniority levels; fluent in English.
  • Excellent judgment and decision‑making skills, with the ability to prioritize in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
  • High energy, creativity, agility and a proactive, solutions-orientated mindset.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy and accountability.
  • Proficiency with approval systems and compliant content workflows (e.g., Veeva).
  • Proficiency in digital and modern communication tools; familiarity with AI‑enabled content development within company policies is an asset.
  • Travel requirement approximately 20% of working time.
