Key Responsibilities
- Global Launch-Readiness Leadership: Develop and lead the brandβs global launch-readiness strategy, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, scientific evidence and competitive positioning. Drive the creation and delivery of high-quality training across scientific, clinical, commercial, and access-focused domains. Ensure all materials are compliant, medically accurate and accessible globally. Provide ongoing capability uplift throughout lifecycle phases.
- Global Learning Curriculum Design & Continuous Development: Own and evolve the global Core Training (CT) curriculum supporting onboarding, functional capability, and scientific proficiency. Lead global Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programmes to enable affiliate Training Champions and Field Trainers to adapt and deploy localised, market-relevant learning. Conduct diagnostic assessments with Affiliates to identify gaps and co-develop targeted interventions. Enhance KAM and MSL capability through structured development pathways in scientific engagement, value-based dialogue and consultative selling/influencing skills.
- Digital Learning & AI-Enabled Innovation: Design a modern learning ecosystem incorporating advanced technologies and generate collaborative virtual learning spaces; leverage AI-assisted content creation β scriptwriting, microlearning, localisation and assessment generation. Utilise innovative online modalities such as simulation, gamification, bite-sized learning, and spaced repetition. Lead best-practice adoption of AI to accelerate, localise, and scale global learning.
- Learning Management System (Cornerstone) & SharePoint Training Governance: Drive optimal use of the LMS, including learning pathways, certification, analytics dashboards, and automated workflows; oversee global training repositories on SharePoint with structured content management, metadata governance, and version control; monitor training engagement and impact using LMS and SharePoint analytics.
- Training Delivery & Facilitation Excellence: Deliver engaging, high-impact training using blended modalities (virtual, in-person, hybrid); facilitate scientific, clinical, and capability-building sessions for diverse global audiences; collaborate with cross-functional SMEs to ensure accuracy, consistency and scientific integrity; manage event delivery, logistics coordination, speaker preparation and delegate engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with Global colleagues in Medical, Commercial, Patient Access & Community Engagement teams; build strong networks across affiliates to ensure global-to-local alignment; work according to Sobi values β Care, Ownership, Partnership, Urgency and Ambition; serve as a cultural ambassador, modelling growth mindset, collaboration, scientific curiosity, and high performance.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant field with professional credential in learning development (e.g., CIPD or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, including field-facing roles (e.g., KAM, Sales, MSL)
- Strong background in Learning & Organisational Development
- Proven project and budget management skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages advantageous
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Office suite and expertise in digital learning tools (e.g., Miro, Qstream, Synthesia, Cornerstone)
- Ability to translate complex scientific data into engaging, structured learning
