Senior Global Marketing Director Nephrology

- Drive the development and support the implementation of C3G and country tactical plans (regional and local) aligned to brand strategy and within agreed budget and timelines.
- Coordinate the development of the Long-Range Plan by working in close collaboration with the VP Head of Nephrology GET & CAT.
- Lead and drive the development and implementation of a promotional strategy for C3G ensuring alignment with the overall regional brand strategy.
- Lead the development of brand positioning, market segmentation, and targeting to drive strategic and tactical thinking, with alignment and quarterly synchronization with Apellis alliance partner.
- Ensure day-to-day brand activities are executed in alignment with major milestones and Sobi values. Activities include brand strategy and tactical development, country execution and adaptation, training and learning, internal and external communications, budget management, and KPI monitoring.
- Continually monitor C3G market and competitive landscape to feed brand strategy and tactics based on Global/European and country level field insights and market research/analytics. Drive optimization of country marketing plans and tactics in collaboration with country leadership.
- Lead assigned Global project groups and work in support of the overall Sobi global commercial plans by collaborating with relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
- Secure local market insights and needs are reflected in global strategies and tactics development and implementation.
- Provide strategic guidance and tactical support to affiliates as needed to ensure successful execution of global strategies and tactics to fully satisfy local business needs. Assist affiliates for development of local tactics/programs as needed to ensure consistency and alignment to Global brand and messages.
- Partner strategically and operationally with the VP, Head of Nephrology, CAT Lead in daily activities and specific processes (e.g., LRP, EPR/SPR/ExCom reviews, CEO Meetings).
- Achieve key projects and successful attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Operate with high ethical standards in line with the Sobi corporate values and SOPs by ensuring ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies, and adherence to those regulations and policies.
Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
- Recent nephrology & orphan disease experience in a marketing role for a minimum of 10 years.
- In-field business management experience (e.g., BU Head, Marketing Manager) minimum 2 years.
- Experience of pre-launch and launch activities in rare diseases, preferentially Nephrology & Rare Diseases.
- Additional commercial experiences including sales, market analytics, and business intelligence.
- Strong cross-cultural leadership, effective communication, and team working skills.
- Multi-stakeholder project management and leadership experience, delivering results on time and within budget.
- Flexibility, ability to manage change and operate in an environment of uncertainty (VUCA).
- Demonstrable customer relationship management experience, and skills to develop KOL advocacy and create product champions within Nephrology.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Additional European language skill is desired.
- University degree level education – medical/science base.
