What You’ll Lead & Deliver

  • Programme Controls Strategy
    Define and implement comprehensive controls strategies for major programmes and complex portfolios. Align controls approaches with client expectations, project objectives, and outcomes-based delivery.
  • Integrated Performance Management
    Lead the development and integration of cost, schedule, and risk management frameworks. Shape programme dashboards, reporting models, and performance insights to drive predictability.
  • Governance, Assurance & Reporting
    Provide expert guidance on governance, reporting structures, and assurance mechanisms. Ensure information flows support timely, confident decision-making at senior levels.
  • Programme Mobilisation & Maturity Improvement
    Support mobilisation of controls environments for complex, large-scale major projects. Assess controls maturity and deliver targeted improvement strategies across programmes. Embed best practices aligned with frameworks such as APM, PMI, MSP and P3M3.
  • Client Leadership & Influence
    Engage directly with Programme Directors, senior leadership, and C‑suite stakeholders. Translate complex delivery performance data into clear, actionable insights. Act as a trusted advisor across infrastructure sectors including energy, transport, utilities, and major public/private estates.

What You Bring

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Significant senior-level experience overseeing or shaping programme controls for major infrastructure or capital projects.
  • A track record of establishing or transforming controls approaches at project, programme or portfolio scale.
  • Experience across complex, multi-project environments in sectors such as energy, transport, utilities or major public infrastructure.
  • Confidence operating independently in senior client settings and presenting to executive audiences.
  • Strong understanding of cost, schedule, risk and integrated controls disciplines.

Bonus if you have:

  • Expertise with digital controls tools, dashboards, or advanced analytics
  • Experience supporting investment and sustainability outcomes through performance controls
