As a Bid Manager, you will play a key role in achieving ambitious growth targets, working closely with technical experts and directors to support the EMEA business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with different business units to gather inputs and write high‑quality bid responses tailored to each client’s scoring criteria.
- Manage the timetable for key strategic pursuits to ensure responses are submitted on time and meet client requirements.
- Review bids across the business for quality, including copy‑editing and design reviews.
- Maintain the bid library and explore innovative solutions that improve bidding efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support development of best‑in‑class bidding processes, proactively suggesting areas for improvement to enhance win rates.
- Lead development and creation of strategic win themes and market‑leading messaging.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Three or more years’ experience in proposals, business development or a similar role, ideally within construction or a related professional services environment.
- Strong track record producing high‑quality, winning, technical bid responses.
- Exceptional written English, proofreading skills and keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of tendering processes in the construction industry; familiarity with the data centre industry a plus.
- Excellent storytelling skills and ability to develop winning messaging tailored to each client’s needs.
- APMP membership or working towards Foundation Level certification.
