We are looking for an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Glasgow. You will be responsible for developing and implementing key procurement and commercial strategies across a range of projects in our business.
In this role you will:
- Provide pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial support for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across various projects.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for installations and upgrades, ensuring all system requirements are covered.
- Manage cost and change control processes, adjusting budgets as needed for design or scope changes.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports focusing on MEP-related expenses, offering financial insights for project tracking.
- Conduct monthly project evaluations to assess progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with terms and tracking deliverables from contractors.
- Handle change management processes, evaluating cost impacts, negotiating adjustments, and updating project documentation.
About you:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience using cost-estimating software and data modelling tools.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication/teamwork skills.
- Data Centre industry experience.
