Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and certifying contractor payments.
- Providing NEC contract administration support to Project Managers (e.g. replying to compensation event notifications, agreement of compensation events, use of Unifier).
- Compiling monthly commercial WOT dashboards reporting on project performance.
- Managing junior members of the commercial team.
- Raising accruals and cost reporting required by Client prior to P6 closure.
- Handling all internal and external contract and commercial documents/queries, including claims.
- Working with Project Managers to agree/compile all documents needed to execute PSC, SWPO and WPO contracts.
- Overseeing alliance subcontracts and their administration by Alliance Delivery Members/External main‑contractors.
- Liaising with all external and internal stakeholders to enable projects to progress without delay.
- Producing quality reports in a timely, professional and legible manner, following instructions and questioning decisions where necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Significant quantity surveying experience and business acumen, a track record in managing complex, high‑value and varied contracts.
- Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Professional qualification or membership of RICS, CIOB, ICES or other relevant Chartered Institute (helpful).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of senior management.
- Expert analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decisions and report findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong team working and leadership skills.
