Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team in Glasgow. You will play a key role in supporting our construction clients by developing and implementing procurement and commercial strategies across various projects.
In this role you will:
- Provide pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial support for MEP systems.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for installations and upgrades.
- Manage cost and change control processes, adjusting budgets as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to clarify requirements and provide updates.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports on MEP-related expenses.
- Conduct monthly project evaluations to assess progress and address issues.
- Oversee contract administration and compliance.
- Handle change management processes, including evaluating cost impacts and negotiations.
About you:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience with cost-estimating software and data modeling tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the Data Centre industry.
