About the Role
As a key member of the Scholarships Office, the Scholarships Officer will report to the Scholarships Manager and be responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support on all aspects of scholarship management and administration for undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research students. This includes administering internal and external scholarship schemes and delivering a high-quality, student-focused service.
The Scholarships Officer is responsible for administering and coordinating the selection, allocation and monitoring processes for our scholarships offering, and to deliver a high standard of communication and customer service, with excellent attention to detail. This role will also work closely with the Admissions, Marketing, Recruitment, Finance, Advancement, and Fees and Funding teams to ensure we are aligned with processes and the overall recruitment pipeline.

About the Department
The Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions (MSRA) directorate delivers a professional and responsive service to the University to ensure that student number targets are met by recruiting and admitting well-qualified applicants. This includes development and delivery of exciting marketing campaigns to communicate the values of SOAS and the benefits of studying here, processing applications in an efficient way, and developing ambitious student recruitment strategies for the UK, EU and International markets.
MSRA is made up of six teams:
