About the Role: SOAS is delivering a two-year transformational strategic project focusing on its online learning programme provision. As part of this work, the Learning and Teaching Enhancement department (LTE) seeks an innovative, collegiate Learning Designer to support a specific element of our work.

Working within the LTE Department, you will work with current module teams to convert previous modules to the new academic calendar as part of our teach‐out approach. You will champion digital learning, equity and the university's mission for educational excellence, working collaboratively to adapt learning materials, content and Moodle sites to deliver an excellent student experience aligned to our semester calendar. You will own the adaptation process and ensure that all necessary modules are ready for delivery in the 2026‐2027 academic year. This is a 6‐month fixed‐term role.

As part of the Digital Learning Design team within the LTE, you will contribute to the department's broader work, remain up to date with digital learning practice and approaches, and feed into quality enhancement and assurance. This is generally a staff‐facing role.
