About The Role
SOAS University of London’s Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate is recruiting a College Research Coordinator to join our team of three. Together, these roles support SOAS’ three Colleges by ensuring externally funded research projects run smoothly and successfully. This position focuses mainly on post-award support—including managing finances, tracking milestones, and liaising with professional services while also promoting funding opportunities and strengthening links between academics and the Research & Knowledge Exchange Directorate. We are looking for someone with strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
About The Department
The Research and Knowledge Exchange Directorate (RKED) oversees the full lifecycle of research and knowledge exchange at SOAS, from securing funding to generating impact and commercialising knowledge. Building on our strong REF 2021 performance, we place research excellence at the heart of our mission. The team delivers high-quality, streamlined support to academics, ensuring effective processes and outcomes aligned with the Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy.
