The department of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions (MSRA) ensures that we meet our student number targets by recruiting and admitting well-qualified applicants to the school. As our Admissions Officer, you will be part of a small team and be the first point of contact for any prospective student applying to the School, for an Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Distance learning programme. You will undertake the processing and assessment of their application and make decisions on whether to make an offer according to criteria defined in conjunction with academic admissions tutors.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in Admissions (undergraduate and/or postgraduate taught) within Higher Education with an understanding of the following:

  • UCAS Processes
  • UK and international qualifications and their equivalencies
  • Equal Opportunities issues
  • Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation

You will have a good level of IT skills to enable you to work on spreadsheets, databases, assessments and tracking of information received. You will have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet prescribed deadlines.
