Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience as a videographer or camera operator, ideally in a commercial or advertising context.
- Skilled with Sony FX3/FX6 or similar cinema cameras and professional lighting setups.
- Strong understanding of short-form video formats and what drives conversion on social platforms.
- Demonstrable familiarity with Meta and TikTok ad styles, hooks and pacing.
- Experience shooting in both studio and location environments.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Calm under pressure and consistently reliable on set.
- A showreel or portfolio featuring commercial or branded work is required to be considered for this role.

- Direct experience shooting content for D2C brands or paid social advertising campaigns.
- Familiarity with tracking creative performance metrics (hook rate, watch time, CTR).
Responsibilities:
- Operate Sony FX3 or equivalent cameras and professional lighting rigs to a consistently high standard across studio and location environments.
- Manage audio capture with precision: microphone placement, monitoring levels, and flagging any issues to the Director in real time.
- Shoot confidently across multiple formats: UGC, VSL, podcast, testimonial, branded content, B-roll and product shoots.
- Execute the Director's creative vision on set with technical precision - and bring your own creative eye to framing, composition and lighting decisions within that direction.
- Apply a strong understanding of hooks, pacing, scene variety and platform-specific visual trends to every shot.
- Maintain accurate footage organisation, file naming conventions and metadata throughout and after every shoot.
- Support the Video Director and Producer during pre-production: contributing to discussions on lighting approach, kit requirements and location setup ahead of shoot day.
- Develop a detailed shot list before every shoot day.
- Stay current with Meta and TikTok creative trends and bring relevant visual references to set.
- Experiment with new techniques to elevate content quality and performance.
What Success Looks Like: In your first 90 days, you will have shot across a range of formats, built strong working relationships with the Directors and Producers you support, and have footage actively running in client ad accounts.
Attitude: You are driven, hands-on and precise in your craft. You care about the frame — but you care just as much about whether the content converts. You thrive on the energy of a busy shoot schedule, stay composed when things don’t go to plan, and bring collaborative energy to every set.
Benefits:
- 28 days paid holiday including birthday leave, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
- Long-service holiday scheme: After 2 years’ service, you’ll receive 1 extra day of annual leave for every year of service.
- Flexible and hybrid working (2 days in office).
- Regular team socials.
- Company Private Health and life insurance scheme.
- Company pension scheme.
- Work abroad for 1 month a year.
