Role: Senior Creative Strategist

Function: Creative Strategy | Performance Creative | Data-Driven Optimisation
Responsibility: Leading the creative strategy function to deliver measurable performance improvements and scalable creative systems
Reports to: Head of Operations
Location: Remote-first with access to our London co-workspace
Compensation: £50,000 to £60,000 + performance bonus + comprehensive benefits

As Senior Creative Strategist, you\’ll own the strategic creative function that drives client growth. This is a leadership position where your decisions directly influence millions in ad spend and determine the trajectory of our clients\’ businesses.

  • Lead Monthly Creative Strategy: Own the development and delivery of monthly creative roadmaps for our premium client portfolio, ensuring all activity is aligned to performance KPIs and wider business objectives.
  • Drive Creative Performance: Continually optimise creative within Meta and TikTok ad campaigns, using data-led insights to improve key metrics such as hook rate, CTR, and ROAS.
  • Design and Implement Testing Frameworks: Build and manage structured creative testing systems that identify winning concepts, scale proven formats, and reduce wasted spend.
  • Oversee Creative Briefing and Production: Write high-quality briefs for UGC creators, performance editors, and designers, then direct production across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube to ensure assets meet both creative and performance standards.
  • Own the Data-to-Creative Feedback Loop: Use tools such as Atria, Motion, Meta, and Triple Whale to extract insights, translate them into clear recommendations, and feed them back into creative development.
  • Innovate with Hooks, Messaging, and Formats: Develop fresh approaches to creative angles, messaging, and ad formats based on performance trends, market shifts, and audience psychology.

Build Scalable Creative Systems: Codify best practices, streamline workflows, and implement processes that enable faster, more efficient creative output without sacrificing quality.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in creative strategy or performance creative fore-commerce brands, ideally within a high-growth agency environment.
  • Mastery of creative testing methodologies and a deep understanding of performance metrics and consumer psychology.
  • Expert knowledge of Meta and TikTok advertising platforms, along with experience creating conversion optimised content.
  • A proven track record of writing compelling creative briefs, ad copy, and scripts across multiple formats.
  • Extensive experience managing UGC creator relationships and overseeing creative production workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills. You do not just report numbers, you uncover the strategic story behind the data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain creative ideas and strategies to clients and internal teams.
  • A track record of presenting creative strategy to C-level executives or senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with AI-powered creative tools and emerging video production technologies.

Success in 6 months:

  • Demonstrate measurable improvement in creative performance across our portfolio of clients, directly correlated to strategies, testing frameworks, and ways of working you have implemented.
  • Deliver at least one breakthrough creative concept that has scaled profitably across multiple campaigns and brands.

  • Have consistently raised the creative bar within the team by focusing on mentorship, skills development, and embedding performance-first creative thinking.
  • Begin to operate beyond your immediate role, thinking more big picture about how creative integrates with Paid Social, Paid Search, CRM, and other services to maximise growth.

Success in 24 months:

  • Establish the most effective creative strategy function in the UK DTC agency space, recognised by clients and peers as industry-leading in driving profitable growth.
  • Progress towards a Head of Creative Strategy or equivalent senior leadership position, taking ownership of the agency’s entire creative output.
  • Make a name for yourself in the e-commerce industry as a go-to expert for performance-driven creative strategy, speaking at events or being sought out for insights.
  • Implement multiple new creative processes, technologies, or testing methodologies that have permanently changed the way the agency delivers creative.
