The Opportunity

Soar Group is the UK’s fastest-growing performance agency group - Hambi Media, For You Advertising, and Soar With Us. We’re around 100 people across London and remote, and the lifecycle activity that keeps a group this size running well has become a craft in its own right. We are looking for an energetic and people-focused People & Culture Coordinator to help build an exceptional employee experience and strengthen company culture across the business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, engagement, workplace culture, and creating an environment where teams can thrive.

The People & Culture Coordinator will support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and culture-building programs.

What You'll Own

  • Employee Experience & Culture
    • Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and workplace culture
    • Coordinate team events, celebrations, and internal culture activities
    • Assist with recognition programs and employee wellbeing initiatives
    • Help foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace environment
    • Support internal communications and employee experience projects
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Coordinate interviews and candidate communication
    • Support employer branding and recruitment experience initiatives
    • Assist with onboarding and induction processes for new team members
    • Ensure new starters feel welcomed, supported, and connected to company culture
  • Team and People Operations Support
    • Maintain employee records and people systems
    • Support HR administration and employee lifecycle processes
    • Assist with people reporting, surveys, and feedback collection
    • Coordinate learning and development initiatives where required
    • Help improve internal people processes and employee touch-points
    • Partner with managers to support team engagement initiatives
    • Assist with office experience and workplace coordination where applicable
    • Support leadership with culture-focused projects and team initiatives
    • Contribute ideas that improve employee satisfaction and team performance

This role demands someone genuinely organised, warm, and detail-obsessed - with real care for the craft of coordination and the people it serves.

Must-Have:

  • 2+ years experience in an HR, People Operations, Recruitment, or Coordinator role
  • Passion for employee experience, culture, and people operations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisation and coordination abilities
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with HR platforms, ATS systems, or employee engagement tools is advantageous

What Success Looks Like:

In your first 3 months:

  • Every new starter across the group has a day‑one experience that feels deliberate and high‑standard
  • Contracts, references, and onboarding admin are running cleanly with zero slips
  • You've built trusted relationships across the group
  • You’re proactively identifying stories to evangelise our employer brand

By month 6:

  • Lifecycle operations run so well they're invisible - the highest compliment this work can receive
  • You've co‑launched at least one meaningful culture moment that team members talk about
  • You're operationally independent, trusted to run coordination with minimal oversight
  • You've identified at least two process improvements that have made the function measurably better
