Senior Creative Strategist

Function: | Meta Ads | Performance Creative | Data & Strategy Leadership.

Reports to: Head of Performance

Location: Remote working | We do have a lovely HQ, Oval, Central London.

Compensation: Β£50,000 – Β£68,000


Overview:

Hambi Media is the UK\’s leading performance creative agency for e-commerce and D2C brands. With an integrated team across strategy, production, design and UGC, we\’ve delivered over Β£100M worth of performance creative for brands including Heights, Surreal, 47 Skin, Mindful Chef and Nutrition Geeks.

Born from advertising and film, we bring together creative excellence and data-driven performance – acting as the in-house creative engine for ambitious brands that want to scale.

The Role:

We\’re looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to lead strategy across some of our highest-growth clients. You\’ll own creative direction end-to-end – from insight and testing frameworks to concepts, briefs and performance analysis.

This role goes beyond building ads. You\’ll help shape our strategic approach, mentor middleweight/junior strategists, and influence how performance creative evolves across the agency.

Requirements

What You\’ll Lead:

  • Own creative strategy for a set of high-value e-commerce accounts.
  • Build and refine testing frameworks that scale across the agency.
  • Partner with the Head of Performance/Strategy on department-level decisions.
  • Lead strategic presentations, client workshops and quarterly reviews.
  • Translate data into powerful insights, hypotheses and creative direction.
  • Oversee concepting, scripting and briefing across UGC, video and design.
  • Ensure creative quality and performance consistency across your accounts.
  • Mentor and review work from midweight and junior strategists.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, trends and behavioural insights.
  • Guide cross-functional teams (media, production, design) to deliver integrated creative.
  • Support new business pitches and represent Hambi\’s creative philosophy.
  • Drive continual improvement in internal processes, frameworks and creative output.

What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months):

  • You independently lead and maintain performance across multiple flagship accounts.
  • Your strategic frameworks start being adopted across the wider agency.
  • Junior and midweight strategists look to you for direction and development.
  • Clients trust you as a proactive, commercial partner in their growth.
  • Creative output becomes more structured, more efficient and more scalable.
  • You influence the creative direction of both client accounts and the department.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years in creative strategy, performance creative or paid social (agency background preferred).
  • A proven track record of scaling Meta/TikTok creative using data-driven processes.
  • Strong analytical capability – you turn data into hypotheses and direction.
  • Experience leading client strategy and guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Exceptional communication and deck/storytelling capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts with clarity and commercial awareness.
  • Deep understanding of buyer psychology and performance marketing principles.
  • High standards, excellent attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
