The Company
A leading Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) provider delivering high-quality, patient-centred urgent care. Committed to clinical excellence, governance, and safe patient flow. Works closely with NHS services and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated urgent care.
The Role
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients with undifferentiated and urgent conditions
- Manage minor illness and acute presentations independently
- Take comprehensive patient histories and perform advanced clinical assessments
- Request and interpret diagnostics (pathology, imaging, ECGs) within scope of practice
- Prescribe medications as an Independent Prescriber (where qualified)
- Safely escalate and refer patients to GPs, specialty teams, or Emergency Departments as needed
- Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to clinical governance standards
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical support to colleagues
The Person
- Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, or GMC)
- Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice or two Level 7 qualifications
- Independent Prescriber (V300) or equivalent
- Strong background in urgent care, emergency care, or primary care
- Confident managing undifferentiated patients autonomously
- Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and decision-making skills
- Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development
- ALS / ILS certification (desirable)
- Experience in UTC or ED settings (desirable)
- Familiar with local referral pathways and integrated care systems (desirable)
