The Company

A leading Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) provider delivering high-quality, patient‑centred urgent care. Committed to clinical excellence, governance, and safe patient flow. Works closely with NHS services and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated urgent care.

The Role

  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients with undifferentiated and urgent conditions
  • Manage minor illness and acute presentations independently
  • Take comprehensive patient histories and perform advanced clinical assessments
  • Request and interpret diagnostics (pathology, imaging, ECGs) within scope of practice
  • Prescribe medications as an Independent Prescriber (where qualified)
  • Safely escalate and refer patients to GPs, specialty teams, or Emergency Departments as needed
  • Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and medical emergencies
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to clinical governance standards
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical support to colleagues

The Person

  • Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, or GMC)
  • Master's in Advanced Clinical Practice or two Level 7 qualifications
  • Independent Prescriber (V300) or equivalent
  • Strong background in urgent care, emergency care, or primary care
  • Confident managing undifferentiated patients autonomously
  • Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and decision‑making skills
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development
  • ALS / ILS certification (desirable)
  • Experience in UTC or ED settings (desirable)
  • Familiar with local referral pathways and integrated care systems (desirable)
