About Monument Technology Limited
Monument Technology provides everything needed to build and run a bank with an open, configurable, end-to-end banking platform as a service, using best-in-class components to empower small and medium-sized banks around the world to thrive in the digital age. Our platform is a full-stack “bank or building-society-in-a-box,” delivering all the functionality needed to run and grow a modern, digital-led financial institution.
About The Role
As a Senior Project Manager at Monument Technology Ltd (MTL), you will oversee the mobilisation and delivery of a portfolio of client contracts. This includes managing concurrent large-scale programmes alongside smaller projects and workstreams. You will work cross-functionally, from early engagement with the Commercial team to support bids and define delivery models, through to programme initiation, execution, and handover to Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations. Delivery approaches may vary, so adaptability across methodologies is essential. You will lead teams within a matrix structure, collaborating with internal MTL colleagues, external partners and client stakeholders. The role includes full accountability for governance, reporting, financial tracking, and successful delivery outcomes. A key element of this role is to contribute to the standardisation of our delivery model, promoting repeatable, scalable best practices across all mobilisations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the end-to-end mobilisation of client contracts, from scope definition and resourcing to cost modelling and timeline planning
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of robust project documentation, aligned to governance and approval processes
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans (for example, in Microsoft Project), providing a portfolio-wide view to support proactive decision-making
- Produce and present clear, actionable management reports for both internal and client stakeholders
- Manage projects in line with contractual agreements, applying rigorous change control procedures
- Facilitate and lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party suppliers (some offshore)
- Embed the MTL Implementation Framework, ensuring delivery lifecycle adherence and timely production of required artefacts
- Lead by example, mentor, and coach team members while managing day-to-day delivery activities
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading projects involving complex contract mobilisations in a technology or fintech environment within the financial services sector, particularly end-to-end delivery of core banking platforms
- Proven experience of setting up or contributing to the detailed setup of a delivery framework
- Ability to apply and flex between multiple delivery methodologies (for example, Agile and Waterfall) across different phases
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of information systems and delivery processes across financial services or related sectors
- Demonstrated success delivering mobilisation programmes end-to-end, with measurable impact
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable managing your own workload and supporting team delivery under pressure
- Familiarity with service management frameworks and ITIL principles (desirable)
- Proficiency in key tools: Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Confluence, and PowerPoint
