We are seeking an exceptional candidate to take up this new role in our fast-growing, owner-managed business. Supporting our Managing Director and working closely alongside the EA to the Directors you will be involved in all aspects of our business from manufacturing, sales and marketing to events, HR and finance. The successful candidate will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Hard-working, resourceful and a strong team player your assistance will deliver demonstrable improvements to the smooth running of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Diary management to ensure smooth running of day and efficient use of time
- Arranging meetings (internal & external) and client dinners in collaboration with other members of the team
- Travel arrangements (flight, hotel, train, currency) & process mileage & ad hoc expense claims
- Prepare trip itineraries
- Keep track of requests from MD to direct reports/team and follow up where appropriate
- Board meeting arrangements & basic assistance with board paper preparation
- Organising ExCo Strategy days
- Taking notes at bi-monthly ExCo meetings
- Assistance with ad-hoc personal admin
- Ad-hoc involvement in organisation of other company events
The holder of this role will work closely alongside the EA to the Directors.
Qualifications for the Position:
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- PA or admin experience, at least 2 years
- A secretarial qualification would be advantageous
- Highly organised, process driven and resourceful
- Proven ability to be able to work independently and also as part of a team
- Discretion and a sense of confidentiality
- Whilst this role will focus on the business side of the company, an interest in art and design would be an advantage
