Working as part of our Business Change team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the business to maintain high-quality master data, develop meaningful reporting and dashboards, and support the successful integration of data into our new ERP system.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex data, solving problems and making a tangible impact on business performance.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our data is accurate, reliable and accessible, enabling better decision-making across Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and Operations.

Purpose of the Position

The ERP Data and Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, and accessibility of business data across the organisation.

This includes maintaining master data, overseeing data imports and integrations, developing reporting solutions and supporting departments with accurate information for operational and strategic decision making.

The role acts as the custodian of business data within SAP Business One and associated systems, ensuring data standards are maintained and that information flows efficiently between business applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy across all business systems.
  • Manage data imports into SAP Business One using Data Integration Hub (DIH) and other approved import methods.
  • Develop and maintain import templates to support the efficient creation and maintenance of business data.
  • Troubleshoot data import failures and validation issues.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure integrations between SAP Business One and external systems maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain and administer master data, including User Defined Tables (UDTs) and User Defined Fields (UDFs).
  • Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote best practice for data governance throughout the business.
  • Work with external ERP partners to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications for the Position

Essential

  • A minimum of three years' experience managing business data within an ERP environment.
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience writing complex queries and reports.
  • Experience of ERP master data management, including customers, suppliers, products and transactional data.
  • Experience using SAP Business One or a comparable ERP system.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience developing management reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A methodical approach to investigating data issues and identifying root causes.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Desirable

  • Experience with SAP Business One.
  • Experience with BEAS Manufacturing.
  • Experience using Data Integration Hub (DIH).
  • Experience with Boyum Dashboards or Power BI.
  • Degree in related field
  • Knowledge of manufacturing master data.
  • Experience of data migration projects.
