We are seeking a skilled and experienced Upholstery Sewing Machinist to join our upholstery workshop in Thurmaston, Leicester. The position involves precise cutting, cushion cover making, cushion inner preparation and machine and hand stitching, ready for upholstery by our highly skilled craftspeople who are making fine handmade upholstered furniture.
Due to the nature of the small team at the workshop the role will require a can-do attitude, and the candidate must not be afraid to get stuck in with the task at hand, be enthusiastic and self-motivated. This role is suitable for someone with an eye for detail and the ability to achieve the excellent standards for which the workshop is well known.
