We are seeking a Freelance WordPress Content Manager for an upcoming project role. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering key content updates to our client’s WordPress website, which operates across 17+ languages. The role focuses on managing multilingual content updates, maintaining consistency across language versions, and ensuring content accuracy and usability across a complex, high-traffic website.
You will work closely with our in-house creative team to execute content updates and support ongoing website maintenance, ensuring pages remain user-friendly, visually consistent, and aligned with brand standards. The role will also involve coordinating updates across multiple stakeholders and language versions, performing quality assurance checks, and supporting the smooth rollout of new and revised content.
Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in WordPress content management and website updates
- Experience managing content across multilingual websites (experience with 10+ languages preferred; 17+ languages highly advantageous)
- Understanding of SEO principles and on-page optimisation techniques
- Experience troubleshooting WordPress issues and managing plugins
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple updates across different language versions
- Experience collaborating with creative teams, developers, and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail, particularly when reviewing multilingual content layouts and formatting
- Previous experience in a digital agency or similar fast-paced environment is an advantage
