Join a UK-based design and manufacturing business going through exciting growth across their electro-mechanical product ranges.
This is an initial 12-month contract covering a key leadership role within the technical function, with a strong chance of going temp-to-perm following successful delivery.
This is a fully onsite position (5 days a week) at their state-of-the-art facility, where all design, development, and manufacturing happens under one roof.
You\’ll be joining a collaborative and hands-on team where innovation, flexibility, and continuous improvement are genuinely encouraged. This is a broad leadership role where you’ll be managing a tight-knit technical team and owning multiple projects across the full product development lifecycle.
You\’ll be working closely with teams in design, quality, planning, procurement, and sales to ensure technical projects are delivered effectively, and you\’ll be a key voice in shaping future processes and direction.
In terms of experience, we’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong background in technical leadership within a manufacturing or product development environment
- Exposure to plastic injection moulding and/or fabricated plastic enclosures
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (design, quality, development)
- Confident working in customer-facing and cross-functional internal roles
- A strong understanding of ISO9001, engineering documentation, and product lifecycle management
- 3D CAD literacy and an appreciation of design for manufacture
