SoCal Reds provides young players with an opportunity to develop their soccer and sports skills, under the guidance of professional coaching staff while learning key life skills centered on the four values of the SoCal Reds DNA: Ambition, Commitment, Dignity and Unity.

So Cal Reds is urgently seeking a soccer & multi sports coach, working with kids aged 3-14 in California, USA to start this August 2025 for 12-18 months. This package includes accommodation, access to a car and many other great benefits.

This role requires candiates to have the following:

  • Be 21 or older
  • Possess a recognized coaching certificate on course of study
  • Hold a valid driver license
  • Be a degree program graduate or currently studying (remotely) OR be enrolling on a remote degree and wish to study and work abroad or have a gap year OR have 5 years of demonstrable sports or business related experience

About the role:

  • Design and deliver progressive sessions to boys and girls aged 3 through 14
  • Ensure sessions are challenging and focus on individual development.
  • Deliver match day preparations, including team selections & warm ups.
  • Identify and recruit talented players to help build teams capable of competing at U8-U12 age divisions in competitive club soccer.
  • Lead coaching sessions in Junior & Mini Reds clinics and camps.
  • Deliver engagement and after school programs and other such community outreach programs.
  • Deliver basic sessions in sports including cricket, badminton and tennis.
  • Work a coach mentoring program
  • Complete daily administrative, marketing and operational tasks across all programs.
  • This may include phone calls and responding to parent questions.
  • Help with the smooth running of daily operations.
  • Work as part of a team to organize equipment, apparel, uniforms, fields (including set up).
  • Provide weekly email to teams
  • Attend weekly meetings at the office.
  • Duties may take place in both an office environment as well as outside on the field.
  • Set up, manage and tear down practice and game day field(s).
