You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Leading and managing a team of talented product designers across Snyk’s products, developing intuitive experiences for Web, IDE, CLI, and API interfaces.
- Championing UX Design impact across the organization and developing a product design strategy, including latest UX trends, competitive analysis, and customer journey mapping.
- Partnering deeply with Product Management and GTM teams to understand and advocate for customer needs.
- Presenting design concepts and ideas to senior leadership throughout the company.
- Collaborating across teams to evangelize consistency and resolve design discrepancies using established design patterns.
- Building flexible design systems to enhance efficiency and consistency in design.
- Guiding your team to solve complex problems and deliver delightful user experiences.
What You’ll Need:
- 8+ years of UX design experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience managing design teams and working on complex SaaS product portfolios.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executives.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma or similar.
- Proficiency in translating usability research, customer feedback, and business requirements into consistent product experiences.
- Experience with agile, fast-paced, and iterative development processes.
We’d be Lucky if You:
- Have exposure to working with engineering and product teams within dev-tooling or cybersecurity environments.
- Possess formal education in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar fields.
- Are hands-on, curious, love exploring new domains and technologies like Gen AI, and are critical thinkers ready to challenge the status quo.
