Role Overview
We are looking for a high‑energy, detail‑oriented Events Marketing Manager to lead our regional strategy across Europe and APJ. As a key member of the global events team, you will be responsible for translating our brand vision into localized, high‑impact experiences—ranging from flagship conferences and executive roundtables to industry trade shows. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, understands the cultural nuances of the EMEA market, and knows how to bridge the gap between creative event production and rigorous lead generation.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute an annual events calendar (EMEA and APJ‑focused and global third‑party events) that aligns with regional sales goals, overall marketing campaign strategy, and global brand standards.
- End‑to‑End Event Management: Own the full event lifecycle with an "on-time, on-strategy, on-budget" mentality—covering venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, logistics, budget tracking, and hands‑on on‑site execution for trade shows, conferences, and hosted events across EMEA and APJ.
- Demand Generation & Lead Follow‑Up: Partner with growth and campaign marketing teams to drive attendance through 360° digital and social tactics before, during, and after events. Ensure post‑event lead follow‑up and integration with ABM and field outbound efforts across both regions.
- Creative Event Experiences: Craft strategic event experiences that differentiate the brand, enable direct buyer connections, and are aligned to broader campaign strategies—and continuously ideate new activities to bring into the fold.
- Event in a Box: Own the localisation and deployment of Snyk's "event in a box" framework across EMEA and APJ—adapting centrally built templates, vendor guides, content frameworks, and promotional playbooks to fit local market needs across diverse geographies, and enabling field teams across both regions to execute high‑quality, on‑brand activations independently and at scale.
- Localisation: Adapt global event themes to resonate with local EMEA and APJ markets—accounting for regional cultural nuances, time zones, and market maturity—while maintaining brand consistency.
- Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Partner Marketing Lead, ABM teams, field marketing, and the Event Marketing Director to integrate sponsors, ecosystem partners, and sales goals into all regional and global activations across EMEA and APJ.
- Vendor Management: Build and manage vendor relationships across multiple geographies to support execution against event goals.
- Hosted Events: Partner with the Event Marketing Director to execute against key components of flagship hosted events (e.g., AI Security Summit & DevSecCon) and other company‑owned experiences.
- Planning, Budgeting & Measurement: Own each event's plan, budget, and goal-setting for lead and pipeline generation across EMEA and APJ. Track and report on KPIs including Cost Per Lead (CPL), pipeline generated, attendee satisfaction, and overall ROI.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years in event marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS or tech industry.
- Regional expertise with proven track record of managing events across multiple EMEA countries and languages.
- Proficiency with event platforms (Cvent, Hopin, Bizzabo) and CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot).
- Exceptional English communication; additional European languages are a major plus.
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the EMEA region and occasionally globally.
We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity— we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech.
Benefits & Programs
- Prioritize health, wellness, financial security, and life balance with programs tailored to your location and role.
- Flexible working hours, work‑from‑home allowances, in‑office perks, and time off for learning and self‑development.
- Generous vacation and wellness time off, country‑specific holidays, and 100% paid parental leave for all caregivers.
