About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead a software development team focused on exposing functionalities through efficient programmatic interfaces and developing developer-friendly APIs that ensure consistency in upstream processes.

In this high-impact, strategic role, you will help evolve our core technology to power the next generation of developer security tools, including AI‑powered remediation capabilities.

What You’ll Spend Your Time

• Co‑develop the team roadmap and support technical direction.
• Drive successful delivery of sprints, quarterly plans, and long‑term goals; track progress and identify gaps.
• Establish clear goals and KPIs for individuals and the team; provide coaching and implement processes to enable forward movement.
• Ensure new team members are onboarded and contributing at expected levels; support existing members to do their best work.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, career development, pay, and promotion.
• Improve team processes using agile and lean methodologies; balance delivery speed and product quality.
• Oversee on‑call process and rota; serve as escalation point for incidents.
• Apply Product‑Led Growth practices to identify, measure, and improve our platform through experimentation.

What You’ll Need

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• 2+ years of success managing, mentoring, and growing high‑performing engineering teams.
• Problem‑solving abilities in complex technical environments.
• A track record of delivering high‑quality, scalable software solutions.
• Software engineering background with experience in Go, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and design.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in cross‑functional environments.
• Experience building APIs for internal and external customers.
• Experience handling large volumes of traffic efficiently.
• Proficient in managing substantial data volumes.
