As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will focus on the technical and operational success of our marketing technology ecosystem, with a significant emphasis on Marketo Engage. You will be part of the team responsible for the health, optimization, and integration of our marketing platforms to support lead management, reporting, and campaign execution.
What you’ll do:- Creating and managing complex Marketo programs and enabling Marketing to expand on ongoing efforts through templatizing programs where possible.
- Auditing and updating legacy logic, old programs, landing pages, forms, smart lists, and segmentations.
- Create, enhance, and enforce governance within Marketo in collaboration with other Marketing Operations and Marketing colleagues.
- Assist in the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of other critical marketing technology tools (e.g., intent data, attribution software, ABM platforms).
- Develop and document robust, scalable processes for campaign deployment, lead routing, and operational programs.
- Collaborate cross departmentally, including; Marketing, Business Intelligence, Salesforce Administration, and Engineering, to ensure proper tracking and data structure is in place to enable accurate reporting.
- Create documentation and provide technical training to marketing team members on best practices for using Marketo and other platforms.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Marketo Administrator or Power User.
- Demonstrated expertise in Marketo Engage.
- Strong understanding of CRM (ideally Salesforce) integration and data synchronization principles.
- Proficiency in database management, data hygiene best practices, and segmentation logic.
- A Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification.
- Experience with other MarTech platforms (e.g., Drift, Clearbit, Salesloft, Tableau).
- Experience with Segment, Workato, Zapier, and Snowflake.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- A solid grasp of HTML/CSS and/or Javascript for troubleshooting, form customization, and minor adjustments within email and landing page templates.
