We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Campus Principal for Snyder Primary School.
Snyder ISD is searching for a principal passionate about transforming lives and outcomes for our students while enjoying the charm and community of small-town living. The work in a turnaround district is tough, but the rewards will be life-changing, and we offer a compensation package that reflects the importance of this role.
Qualified candidates will have a Master’s degree, hold a Texas Principal or other appropriate Texas certificate, and be a Certified Professional Development and Appraisal System appraiser.
Principal Salary + Campus Leadership Incentive:
- Salaries above state base (commensurate with experience)
- Primary School (grades EE-3) Principal Salary Range: $79,444 – $110,168
- High School (grades 9-12) Principal Salary Range: $94,389 – $141,854
- The District contributes a percentage of salary placed into a 401(a) account based on campus performance:
- “A” Campus with at least “B” in Domain 3: 40% of Principal’s base salary
- “B” Campus with at least a “B” in Domain 3: 30% of Principal’s base salary
- Campus Distinction – 2.5% of Principal’s base salary, paid per distinction
Additional Benefits:
- 401 (a) retirement contribution matching: 100% up to 5% of employee salary. Vested after 5 years.
- Hybrid Calendar – providing additional paid days to employees over a traditional school calendar
- 12 month contract with Fridays off in the summer
- FREE Pre-K for staff kids
- $50,000 life insurance policy
- $425 monthly toward medical policy
- Twice a month pay
