We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality cleaning and deep cleaning tasks across designated areas during evening hours. The role supports a safe, hygienic, and well-presented working environment by ensuring all cleaning duties are completed thoroughly, consistently, and in line with health and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled deep cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including floors, staircases, surfaces, fixtures, fittings, washrooms and other agreed areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, polish, and sanitise floors and surfaces to a high standard.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch points such as door handles, light switches and handrails.
- Deep clean washrooms, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, dispensers, and related sanitary areas.
- Use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment safely and in accordance with instructions, training, and COSHH requirements.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, spillages, damaged equipment, or low stock levels to the manager on duty promptly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment, storage areas, and cupboards in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Follow agreed cleaning schedules, checklists, and venue procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed within the allocated shift time.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a set cleaning schedule.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understands the importance of safe working practices, including the safe use of cleaning products.
- Able to report issues clearly and promptly to the manager on duty.
- Physically able to carry out cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting light equipment, reaching, and standing for periods of time.
