We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Equipment Hire Team Member to join our team on a fixed term seasonal contract.
This varied role involves working both on the equipment hire desk and, on the slopes, ensuring guests enjoy a safe and exceptional experience.
Responsibilities include issuing and fitting skis, snowboards and boots whilst delivering excellent guest service.
In addition, you will support slope operations by assisting with lift management, monitoring guest safety, and helping to run on-snow sessions and activities.
The role requires a hands‑on approach and the ability to work effectively in a cold and physically demanding environment.
The ideal candidate will be guest‑focused, adaptable, safety‑conscious, and able to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.
Previous experience in snow sports, equipment hire, leisure, hospitality, or customer service is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Provide all our guests and members with the best possible welcome.
- Engage with our guests and members, positively and affirmatively always, explaining the benefits of higher yielding activities before making future bookings.
- Complete daily check sheets at start and end of day.
- Rental equipment always cleared away, tidy and stored correctly.
- Set out nets correctly as per requirements of the day and clear away at end of day.
- Helmets fully stocked, tidy and sanitised after each use.
- Assist guests with fitting of boots, skis and snowboards as required.
- Complete regular slope pass checks in line with brand standards.
- Check rental returns for damage and transfer faulty equipment to tech room immediately
- Ensure work tops, flooring, racking and general areas are always clean and tidy.
- Assist our guests and members with the kiosks when required.
