The Bodyshop Paint Technician Associate is a member of the Bodyshop/Mobile/SMART Team and will report to his Line Manager. The Associate Paint Technician is responsible for learning all aspects of Mobile & Cosmetic refinishing operations. This includes the preparation stage through to completion, always achieving a high standard of repair. The role will involve working where your Line Manager advises, which could vary from site to site, working with SMART mobile operations, Cosmetic Centres, and/or the Bodyshop and Hi Lux Treatment Centre.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the correct paint repair is performed on the damaged vehicles.
- Ensuring the correct paint is chosen and the appropriate preparation is performed on the vehicle before it is painted.
- Maintain the working environment and associated equipment to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any defaults to management.
- Follow instructions on the job card regarding the re-paint.
- Use PPE and safety measures in the paint room (extraction fan) to minimise accidents.
- Supervise other team members as necessary.
- Report any problems that arise to the Work Controller and liaise with other departments where appropriate.
- Collection and delivery of vehicles.
- Produce basic repair estimates.
- Vehicle Appraisals.
- Liaise with customers and other Departments.
