We are on the lookout for a Bodyshop Development Executive for Snows Accident and Repair Centre, Southampton.

Your day:

The Bodyshop Development Executive is responsible for estimating all damaged vehicles and sending accurate information to insurance companies for authority. This includes:

  • Estimating to cover all repairs and re-assessing in order to create the correct time and costs to be authorised by insurers using insurance companies preferred computer systems/guidelines.
  • Communicating effectively with the engineers, insurance companies and customers to ensure all parties are updated and well informed.
  • Carrying out estimating either on site or off site in a timely manner.
  • Ordering the correct parts with parts department to ensure the spares arrive in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the correct repair methods are quoted for in the repair and job cards reflect the information accurately.
  • Documenting and updating each stage of the estimation process correctly (imagery/updating insurance systems/companies/customers) to ensure accuracy of information and to obtain repair authority.

  • ATA VDA or NVQL3 or equivalent preferred.
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • IT/web and computer literate.
  • Numerate and Articulate.
  • Delivers Excellent Customer Service.
  • Delivers a result and makes things happen.
  • Full driving licence.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (with 30 minutes for lunch). Working can be flexible.
