Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join our established team at Snows Toyota & Lexus, based in Bournemouth & Poole.
Your Day
As a Service Technician, you will carry out a variety of workshop tasks in an efficient and safe manner. The aim is to meet customer requirements while maximising workshop utilisation and productivity.
Your day will include:
- Flexibility to switch between both Toyota Bournemouth and Lexus Poole with reasonable notice. Travel time will be taken into consideration, and a reduced productivity target will be applied to accommodate this.
- Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes, ensuring accurate clocking and that all associated parts are assigned to repair work prior to job completion.
- Liaising directly with clients where appropriate and creating clear videos to ensure identified work is explained in a way that provides clarification and justification.
- Supporting the Front of House team and ensuring write-ups are clear and accurate.
- Attending regular training to update and enhance technical skills.
- Ensuring the immediate working environment is kept clean and free of any practices that may pose a hazard to yourself or others.
Have You Got What It Takes?
- Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation.
- Previous work experience in a franchised dealership.
- Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering first-class customer service.
- Able to plan and organise your workload and meet agreed deadlines.

Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30 (with 1 hour for lunch)
- Saturday: 08:30 – 12:30 (1 in 4 rota)
